Categories: Appetizer
Yield: 12 Twists

SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS; BOOK 3
6slBacon; cut in half
12 Apricot halves, dried
DIPPING SAUCE
1/4cJam, red plum
1/8cSoy sauce

Preheat oven to 350 F. Wrap one half-slice of bacon around an apricot half, securing with toothpick. Repeat with remaining bacon and apricots. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 20-25 minutes, turning once. Bacon should be brown and crisp.

While twists and baking, combine jam and soy sauce in small saucepan. Cook over low heat just until jam melts; set aside.

Drain twists on paper towels. Serve warm or at room temperature with dipping sauce.

Sylvia's comments: this was okay but not exciting -- I have better bacon appetizer recipes.
